An experimental short about unreliable narration — not as a trick but as a condition. What happens when a person genuinely cannot separate what happened from what they have told themselves happened.

Director's Note

Memory is not a recording. Every time you remember something you are also changing it slightly. This film tries to make that process visible — to let the viewer feel the edit happening in real time.

  • Where is the line between misremembering and lying?
  • Can form itself — the structure of a film — enact unreliability?

Process

Fragmented editing and repeated scenes with small variations — asking the viewer to track what changes and what stays the same.

A formal investigation into how narrative authority breaks down.
